For my post today I figured I would add a prequel FBF (Flash Back Friday ) photo of my past endeavors. Before I became the mixed media artist I am today I was just a regular art student learning just as other students. The photo above was a class project in which we had to apply our two favorite artist styles into a work of our own. My favorite artist were Georgia O'keeffe and Raimond Staprans. Being the artist I am today I feel if you can paint exceptionally well its not necessary for each composition. While attending the Academy of Art University their are students that are equally if not more talented than you. In an environment as such creativity and craftsmanship becomes a major deciding factor in your work. Brittany lives and works in Houston, Texas where she was born and raised. Growing up with a car artist father, and an educator mother she was taught to follow her dreams and accomplish her goals. Her experience in the art world has taught her to incorporate what she loves and what she knows to create innovative works of art.
