Flash Back Friday

For my post today I figured I would add a prequel FBF (Flash Back Friday ) photo of my past endeavors. Before I became the mixed media artist I am today I was just a regular art student learning just as other students. The photo above was a class project in which we had to apply our two  favorite artist styles into a work of our own. My favorite artist were Georgia O'keeffe and Raimond Staprans. Being the artist I am today I feel if you can paint exceptionally well its not necessary for each composition.  While attending the Academy of Art University their are students that are equally if not more talented than you. In an environment as such creativity and craftsmanship becomes a major deciding factor in your work. With each of my works I create based upon what is best for my subject and the message I’m conveying
