When you were a child how did you spend your rainy day indoors? Did you play chess with a sibling, have a creative project locked away in your room, or even play with your favorite toy. We all had our favorite activities where we explored our imagination when we weren't allowed to play outside. "After the Storm" was inspired by the nostalgia feeling experienced on a rainy day inside when you were a child. My best works are inspired by the weather just as my mood and "After the storm" is no exception. The best thing about the rain is the hope for a rainbow at the end of a storm.
