Every subject encompasses nostalgic visuals that represent recollections of my childhood. Collective experiences from my fascination with celestial objects to rainbow doodles are objective memories that I compose within my artworks. “Bottom of a rainbow" was made like every artwork in the collection! Using doodles and the subconscious mind without a concept or sketch in mind each artwork was created spontaneously. Some artworks are created within an hour and some take days or weeks. Believe it or not, creating in this way is harder than any other work I create because a road map doesn’t exist before I begin painting like other works. There’s no sketch, no erasers, and no covering-ups. Each mark of ink stains the paper and is forever embedded within the work just as our memories are forever engraved in the past until a new mark is added.
