"Cushion Diamond" features a large cushion cut diamond created using acrylic paint . This painting was inspired by diamonds. Before I discovered my artistic abilities I wanted to be a gemologist. When I was a child I was immensely interested in rocks, minerals, and gemstones. Their colors, textures, and allure captivated me in the same way art does. Art and rocks are two closely related subject matters to me through rocks. Pigments come from the chemical structure of rocks.
