“The shipping channel” features the ship Chanel bridge from Houston as the send off portal of a loved ones message. The paper plane zips through the air on its way to the pearly gates of heaven.

Herstory

The “Letters to Heaven“ series was inspired by the desire to want to talk to a loved one who is no longer on Earth. Sending letters gives peace of mind for those left behind even if it’s  hypothetical. The background features doodles documenting the story within the letter of the paper plane; with text over a celestial wave representing space and time. Two land bridges representing Heaven and Earth. Both are realms which are never meant to conjoin.
